I'm passionate about helping people to realise their musical goals by showing them how to learn music quickly and easily. I've been teaching for well over 10 years and run successful 1-1 (or small group) music courses.
I’ve built an entire business around helping adults and kids figure out how to practice and play the piano in the most efficient way. I have taught hundreds of students how to play the piano in the shortest possible time and become the player they’ve always wanted to be.
From an early age, I was fascinated by the sound of music coming through my parents radio and wondered how it was made. I loved listening to The Beatles, Elton John, Beethoven and many other great artist. The passion I had for music led me to learn to play the piano, guitar and trumpet throughout throughout my teenage years. I’ve been a member of various bands and played at weddings as a solo pianist and my love of music has given me some of the greatest moments in my life and it has also helped me through many difficult times.
I've always been curious as to why some students struggle to play the piano and others found it easy, consequently, I made it a mission of mine to find out how students who struggled, could overcome any difficulties they had. This took me on a journey of attending courses, master classes and learning from the masters to discover what worked and what didn't.
I found out from experimenting, researching and observing, that consistent practice, done in the correct in the most efficient way a long with consistent practice, (no matter how short) and determination can make a succesfful musician out of anyone who has the passion and the hunger to succeed to whatever level they want.
Even if you have limited time each day, I will prove to you that with consistent short bursts of daily practice you can make significant progress to understanding, enjoying and playing music to the best of your ability.
I will prove that anyone can learn to play the piano and I will show you how to learn to read piano music, in a simple, step by step approach that won't overwhelm you. Each concept will be understood fully before moving on to the next one. Lessons are built around the fundamentals of music and piano technique.
